Upon completing this course, learners will be able to explain the difference between right and left bundle branch blocks (BBB), how to identify this rhythm on an EKG, and discuss diagnostic tools used to diagnose BBB. Learners will also be able to anticipate patient symptoms based on which BBB they are diagnosed with. The course presents different treatment approaches and their outcomes. This course is relevant for LPNs, RNs, and APRNs practicing in all specialties and care settings. It will be particularly useful for nurses in the intensive care unit, emergency department, progressive care, and telemetry/stepdown.

  5. Discuss nursing considerations when managing patients with BBB and pacemakers.
